I'm trying to compile an ultimate club/dance album, and so I ask you, what are the all-time best club/dance/techno/etc. tracks that I should include in this album?

Guess it depends on what was playing where/when you went clubbing. For me (easy-to-find stuff):
Watergate - Heart of Asia Storm - Time to Burn Lock 'n Load - Blow Your Mind Faithless - Good is a DJ (or insomnia) Darude - Sandstorm Oakenfold - Send me an Angel

Hahaha... I was WAITING for Madler to weigh in... only 28 titles? You must be slipping, man! And yes, I too grieve the Luvafair. My kingdom for some goths and brit techno.

It was all just off the top of my since I could have asked whether you meant classic rave? dance? alternative? 80's? Rock? There's just so much music out there. It's a pity that the radios only play a fraction of it. The clubs here play either Top 40 or your choice of rap/hip-hop/house. Variety is dead. Although for a true taste of club classics you should see "24 Hour Party People" which tells the story of Factory Records (Joy Division, New Order, Happy Mondays) and the Hacienda (where I'd like to go when I die).

Yeah, I meant the type you gave, mostly techno/dance stuff.
And 24 hour party people is already on my netflix list.
