I'll admit it, I dropped the ball... forgot to remind everyone ahead of time that today was Free Comic Book Day. (Although it's really their fault for making it the day after I closed on a house; what were those guys thinking?) However, most comic stores get in more free books than they can give away in one day, so if you go into a shop anytime in the next week or so and ask nicely, my guess is that they'll still give you a free comic or several. Give it a try!
