I want to live where you live. Okay, but be forewarned: we've got (all together now) coins and colourful bills.

I've been watching this with some amusement, and I just wanted to say that with all of the terrible things that go on in this world, with all of the things one could get worked up about, the fact that some people call those younger than them (even if the younger people are teenagers) "kids" seems to be a relatively minor thing. It could be that my age has given me a greater sense of perspective.

Or it could be that this just isn't the best button to press for you. Most people have some word or other use of language that gets them riled sometimes, and there's no reason to expect you share mine.

Thanks Magill! You said what I intended to say, and didn't. It's a big ugly ol' world out there. If I have to choose my battles, the issue of age related terminology is very low on my list. And Pooly? I think DocD83 was quoting me when he said he wanted to "live where you live". We can't let our good Canadian neighbors spend their multi-colored money here, although I have to admit it's kind of neat to look at. Sue

I would suggest that an internet debate is a bit different from prosecuting war criminals.

Up here where da nord begins. Is it wrong that I instinctively thought "at the hundredth meridian" after that phrase? Sorry, Canucks only.
