"Holy Fool" from the Boondock Saints soundtrack is awesome to drive to, as is "La Grange" by ZZ Top.

A mix with just about any song by The Reverend Horton Heat or Stray Cats will make any car ride an enjoyable one.

"Centerfold" by The J Guiles Band and I would also nominate ZZ Top's "Cheap Sunglasses" and "Sharp Dressed Man" in addition to "La Grange."

Oh, and you should add "Asleep At The Wheel" by the Bloodhound Gang. Definitly good for driving.

Toss these in for good measure, just make sure they don't get you in a wreck: "Tourniquet" - Evanescence "My December" (Fast Mix) - Linkin Park And if you are making a driving mix, it is REQUIRED that you have at least one Smashmouth song, the self-proclaimed "Sun-n-fun" band, I suggest "And the Morning Comes". But really, all of this talk about making mixed CDs makes me want to make a point. There cannot really be one perfect "driving" CD really. I woudl argue you need several themed CDs that you can put in to fit your mood at the moment. When you want to drive 95, then you put in the "Nu Metal Mix" (Linkin Park, Evanescence, Robert Miles maybe), when you feel like just going on a fun drive, maybe the "Fun mix" (with some Smashmouth, Fun Factory and Outkast). When you want to feel chillin and relaxing, you can put in a "Chill mix" (Usher, Marvin Gaye, Boyz II Men's Evolution songs). When you want to think and to feel, make a "Melancholy Mix" (Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer's "Only In Dreams", and some choice Eric Clapton songs). For me, this works the best, to have a few good themed CDs and put in the one that suits my mood the most. Word!
