Before anyone starts ripping...I wanted to go ahead and say how much I heart Nirvana. Not only was his music infinitely inspiring to me in my pliable teenage years, but Kurt and Nirvana hold a very special place in my adolescence. You see, when I was 14 and decided to become cool (start playing guitar, get CD's with the warning label on them, wear sunglasses at night, ect.) I convinced my parents to buy me my first rock t-shirt. And I got the Nirvana one. From then on, my life steered away from the "nameless/faceless stormtrooper" path, and started heading in the "galactically known and feared jedi knight" direction. Until 1999 when Episode I came out and Star Wars allusions became uncool. I've totally gone off-topic and know no way to get back, so I'll quit while I'm ahead.

Pretty much all of Nevermind...with the surprising exception of Smells Like Teen Spirit. Of course, that's probably because I've heard it on the radio approx. 3,871,230,400 times in my life. Lithium and In Bloom are probably my favorites, along with On A Plain and Drain You.
Pretty much all of In Utero too with the exception of Milk It...that song was waaay too pointless metal for my melodic tastes. Rape Me and Francis Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle are probably my favs there.
And Incesticide doth rocketh. 2 minute punk songs = great driving music. Molly's Lips (an old Melvins track, if memory serves me right) is the best, so is Anyeurism.

My favorite Nirvana song is All Apologies, with Lithium coming up shortly behind. My favorite album is In Utero. I like every song from the beginning to the end, where IMHO towards the end of Nevermind is weaker.
