That was very sad. He's just a genuinely good guy, from every interview and concert I've seen of his.

I genuinely hope he's taking the public reaction the way he describes. I'm sure he has a loyal and loving fanbase, and good that he can lean on it.
And I agree, Al's public face has always been golden, particularly in Canada. He does rare, but beloved, "takeovers" of our music station, MuchMusic, which are some of the best examples of comedy in the world.
Anyways, we wish him all the best.

Poor guy. I'm glad he's able to find some solace in performing, but you could tell how much he loved his parents.

I remember Al's parents would often appear in some of his projects, like on his live concert DVD. They came on stage and introduced him. It makes their death that much more tragic.
