Just post music videos you find really good and add a comment if you like.
Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel - What more can be said about this perfect video?
Thriller - Michael Jackson - Ditto.
Tonight,Tonight - Smashing Pumpkins - The Pumpkins version of Melies' Voyage to the moon. Bautiful, funny and awesomely made with what appers to be cardboard paper.
Dope Hat - Marilyn Manson - Mr. Manson's take on the boat ride from Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory. Totally demented.
Californication - Red Hot Chili Peppers - Really cool clip made by computer animation, one of the best of its kind.
Losing My Religion - R.E.M - Another classic, weird clip.
And the Fatboy Slim clip with Christopher Walken dancing I just can't remember the song's title.
There are more but those are the ones that first came to my mind.

The Fat Boy Slim one is Weapon of Choice - cool video.
Others amoung my favourites: Massive Attack - Teardrop (with the embryo singing)
Pearl Jam - Evolution (substandard song, but great animated video)
Foo Fighters - Learning to Fly (each band member plays multiple occupants in an airplane in which heroin is being smuggled in the coffee. As the only ones not to drink coffee the 'real' band members are forced to land the plane. Plus it has Jack Black in it.)
Elton John - I want Love (single shot of Robert Downey Jr. walking around an empty house singing the song. 1st, must have been quite hard to get right, 2nd, just seems to fit perfectly with the song.)

My all time favorite is "Let Forever Be" by the Chemical Brothers. Very confusing, lots of identical dancers, lots of weird effects but still looks very low tech.
Almost anything by Bjork, especially "Bachelorette" and "It's oh so quiet".
And I still like Coldplay's video for "The Scientist".

Smells Like Nirvana was quite brilliant, as was Amish Paradise. I really like parodies. Actually, a lot of the Wierd Al ones are just a hoot. (It's amazing how well he can imitate various people. His Michael Jackson impressions are classic, and I still get a kick out of him doing Ewan McGregor doing his best Alec Guiness.)
I saw the video for Tough Little Boys the other day, and that definitely made me cry. (Country videos tend to be good at that. Either that or they usually crack me up.)

One of my favorite music videos is for "Three Little Pigs" by Green Jelly. It's made entirely out of claymation, and it compliments the song very well. I recommend both the song and video, they are both very funny.

I haven't watched MTV or VH1 for years. In fact, I avoid both channels as much as possible. But, I remember a few good ones.
Smashing Pumpkins - 1979 Foo Fighters - Everlong Everclear - Everything to Everyone
Yeah, I think those were some good ones.
Oh, aqnd anything by Peter Gabriel=good music video.

My top 5 favorite music videos: 1. Wake Me Up, Before you Go Go! - Wham! (This is a funny, funny video for more reasons than you can think of) 2. Take on Me - Aha! (Revolutionary for its time and still a good song and video) 3. Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden (Shows how truly freaky suburbia really is!) 4. No Rain - Blind Melon (Bright, beautiful and fun) 5. My All (Stay Awhile Remix w. Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz) - Mariah Carey (I had a huge crush on her when I was in my teens, but this video and this song I am still proud to have on my list of favorites. Looks urban without being hypocritical)

Of course I'd have to agree with Take on Me and Thriller...two of my all time favorite music videos. You just can't get em' like you did in the 80's...especially since MTV has bastardized the music video genre by only constantly playing hip-hop videos and Brit wannebe vids.
But here are some that make the grade: *Praise You-Fatboy Slim...Spike Jonze is a genius of epic porportions...how can it get funnier than a bunch of white folks freestylin it in a movie theater while on-lookers shudder in confusion and horror.
*Hate to Say I Told You So-The Hives...great song, stylish retro video brings us back to the days of great 60's garage rock. Plus, their bass player is just amazing in his solo.
*Spark-Tori Amos...All of her videos are weird and sometimes disturbing, but this one never fails to send chills down my spine. It starts out with tori crawling out of a trunk tied up and blind-folded. Throughout the course of the video, she's trying to escape her bonds and ends up jumping into the river. When she finally reaches the road, these blond girls igore her and drive by. So many subtle meanings, especially since this song is dedicated to her miscarriage.

I remember now! The Finger Eleven song is "One Thing". It came on yesterday and I drove my sister nuts singing it. ;D

Right, time for me to go nuts because I have an obsessive love of weird/experimental/brilliant music videos, so there might be a lot of these. Check them out if you get a chance. Daft Punk - Da FunkA dog headed man walking around in New York. So, so bizarre, but brilliant. Aphex Twin - WindowlickerAll Aphex Twin videos are weird. Windowlicker is in turns hillarious and utterly terrifying, and its runner up only to... Aphex Twin - Come to DaddySmall children all with the faces of Richard D James (the guy from Aphex Twin) wreck a suburban tower block while a grey skinned monster screams at an old lady. May sound stupid, but honestly brilliant. UNKLE - Rabbit In Your HeadlightsA Thom Yorke from Radiohead voiced angsty dance tune with a video that will make you wince right up until the end, because it has the best, most uplifting ending ever. Bjork - All Is Full of LoveRobot Bjork cyber-making-out with another robot. Portishead - Open All HoursIts hard to describe how good this video is. Honestly, just find a way to watch it. The song is my favourite Portishead song as well Squarepusher - Come On My SelectorCrazy japanese girl escapes from a mental asylum and switches a guards brain with that of her dog. Basement Jaxx - Wheres Your Head AtMonkeys with the faces of people! Playing instruments! Fatboy Slim - Weapon of ChoiceAs Zappakub mentioned, this video is Christopher Walken jiove dancing through a hotel lobby. Its awesome in a jar. Coldplay - God Put A Smile On Your FaceA businessman slowly disappears into nothing. Good song as well. Radiohead - Karma Police/Paranoid Android/Street Spirit/No Suprises/and JUSTThese five videos are all fantastic, with Just easily being my favourite and one of the best video's ever. Korn - Freak on a LeashTodd McFarlane animation, and slow motion pictures of bullets shooting through different objects - who could ask for more? Beastie Boys - Intergalactic/Check It Out/ and SABOTAGEThe Beasties always have great spoofy videos, but the 70's cop homage of Sabotage will always be their crowning glory DJ Format - Vicious Battle Raps Extremely varied streetwalk with bunches of different characters made all the more impressive that its all done in one take There are probably dozens more that I will think of at a later date, but that should tide you over for now. - Rich

I love this video, it's right up there with Elton's I want Love video as oddly disturbing. And it should be noted that Pearl Jam's Do the Evolution video (which Neutral listed) was also done by Todd McFarlane. Awesome animation...

That has got to be the best representation of '90s crap video I have ever seen. Let's check the list: - Slow-mo and spin cam? Check!
- Uneccessary black and white and negative images? Check!
- White guy dreds and grunge gear? Check!
I need to take a shower now...
