To give myself a present for my birthday, and to do something I've sort of wanted to do for a while, I started a new website project: www.geekcodex.comMy ongoing frustration has been that I love so-called geek literature -- fantasy, sci-fi, horror -- and it's hard sometimes to find the *really* good books among the thousands of lesser ones. So the whole purpose of Geek Codex.com is for us fringe types to recommend our absolute favorite geek novels to others. It's simple, it's bare-bones, but I feel the idea has merit and real use, not only to me, but to a lot of people. Don't worry, I'm not abandoning MRFH or even pushing it aside a little; Geek Codex.com is a different kind of project (no reviewing or critiquing, per se, and the updates are designed to be easier to do, and just once a week). It's just something I've wanted to do, and I didn't feel that MRFH is the proper format for it. So basically I need all of your help (if you're into these genres of books and this sounds interesting to you), in doing two things: (1) submitting your own favorite book recommendations, so that we can expand the content on there, and (2) spreading the word around to get others to come visit. I'd really appreciate if you did either or both, and I sincerely hope you'll find the site useful. Thanks!
