Lust- Flavour of the weak by American Hi-Fi Seriously? I don't mean to question, blink, opinion is opinion, but what about the song makes you feel that way? It's just the tone and feeling of the music never struck me as particularly lustful, so I'm curious. -D

I agree with you, D. I like "Flavor of the Weak" well enough, but it could just be the lyrics that can be interpreted as such. Not bashing you, blinkfan, but when I think "lustful" I get some definite Prince riffs in my head. Especially "Little Red Corvette." Just a thought.

Also The lyrics basically speak for them selves here is the lyric that inspired me to write it. "She paints her nails and she don't know, He's got her best friend on the phone. She'll wash her hair, his dirty clothes, Or all he gives to her. And he's got posters on the wall Of all the girls he wished she was. And he means everything to her." The fact that this girls boyfriend would rather have these other girls is very lustful.

The fact that this girls boyfriend would rather have these other girls is very lustful. Wouldn't that be unfaithful? Or "free clinic poster child"? Or a couple of rather colorful terms I could think of? Yeah Prince is more along the lines of lustful. Or that one song that goes "I wanna fall in lust" ... Wicked Games? I can't remember.

Here's a highly specialized one:
BERZERKINESS--"No More Tears" by Ozzy Osbourne.
Though there isn't a great deal of lyrical relevance to this end--the "plot" of the song, if I'm not mistaken, involves a serial killer who murders hookers (Ozzy, why you always gotta be such a creep?)--this song evokes for me a particular phenomenon that one encounters in all media, but which seems to have a particular prevalence in anime: Super-Pissed Mode.
The aforementioned being an unstable and snarly altered state characteristic of most if not all tortured half-nasty heroes (half-vampire, half-demon, half-toaster, etc.).
Odd that this song is considerably more mild than the Cookie Monster-vocaled death metal one might traditionally associate with such an event. Also the only Ozzy song I like.
