I have a grave affinity for the following soundtracks:
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back School of Rock Austin Powers (the first movie) The X Files Movie Charlie's Angels. Actually, there are only one or two tracks on that that I really love, the "Tangerine Speedo" song at the end being the key.

I listen to The Crow soundtrack a lot (Color Me Once by the Violent Femmes is my favorite song in the world...my husband doesn't get my Femmes appreciation..) and The Queen of the Damned is usually played a lot too...

Donnie Darko. Awesome collection of songs. Wedding Crashers (which like kyle said) is awesome.

Are we doing scores or soundtracks? To me, they're two entirely different animals.

Garden State and A Knight's Tale. Have to agree with Kyle on Josie & the Pussycats. I saw that movie when it first came out - let's just say I was their target audience - and I only just got the meaning of the song "Backdoor Lover" when I gave the CD another listen a few months back. I can't believe they got that into a kids' (or teenyboppers') movie.
I'd like to give the Royal Tenenbaums soundtrack a listen, as well as the score to 32 Short Films About Glenn Gould.

I too am a big fan of the Garden State soundtrack and I love Moulin Rouge and Newsies. Boondocks Saints is good solely for the theme song, which is a beautiful Irish song. Do musicals count? If so, Les Mis and Wicked make my list as well.

The Wedding Singer is hard to beat, but in terms of music composed specifically for the film, "Out Of Sight" and "Blair Witch 2" are hard to beat. Much as I have a sneaky love for the second Blair Witch film I know I'm in a small minority, but the music is spot-on.

I listen to The Crow soundtrack a lot ( Color Me Once by the Violent Femmes is my favorite song in the world...my husband doesn't get my Femmes appreciation..) and The Queen of the Damned is usually played a lot too... The most annoying thing about the QotD OST is that Jonathan Davies (of KoRn) wrote and sang all of the 'Lestat' songs in the movie but they are performed by other metal artists on the album! I mean, they are good, don't get me wrong, but I preferred the Davies' versions! The Crow OST is one of the most awesome ever.

The Shrek movies and Empire Records are three more great ones Ah, Empire Records, I love that movie. The amount of times I use the "Mark with a C" quote (and no one gets what I'm talking about :z).
