Whoa... no contest. I like Blink-182, but musically, they're just not in the same league as Green Day. Enema of the State is fun, catchy tunes that lift your spirit and ramp you up; Dookie is meaningful songs that perfectly capture the essence of 90's teen ennui and disaffection. Both good, but Dookie (and American Idiot) actually has something to say.

I have all of Blink 182's cd's and am a huge fan of them. But i also have Green day's dookie album. So i have Mutual respect for both of them. But ultimatley i think Blink is the better band

The thing about Blink 182 is, and it's not really their fault, but a lot of the time they're nearly indistinguishable from all the clones that followed them... nowadays you don't know if the track is by Blink 182, or Good Charlotte, or Sum 41, or American Hi-Fi, or a host of other imitators. Whereas when you're listening to a Green Day song, you know you're listening to a Green Day song.

Both Blink and Green day are out of the league of nirvana. Nirvana is argueably one of the most influential bands of all time/
