Led Zeppelin is by far my favorite band. I have all of their albums (on CD). They just rock.
Other notables:
The Beatles Queen AC/DC The Beach Boys Cream (and anything Clapton) CCR The Doors The Yeah Yeah Yeahs (didn't see that coming, did ya?)
and many others that I don't feel like typing.

I have to admit that I have only had the chance to hear Beach Boys collections; so, I've never really heard one of their albums.
Were I to listen to them, I imagine Pet Sounds would be my favorite. I have Brian Wilson's Smile, and it's great. Considering it was supposed to be the "sequel" to Pet Sounds, and they have similar sounds, I think I would love that album.
