Here are some more of mine they are pretty unknown but still awesome:
Ten Second Epic: saw them in concert.
My Broken Hero: There from my town and I've seen them in concert like a million times.
Stutterfly: Saw them In concert.
Counting Heartbeats: Saw them in concert they blew me away.

That's cool. They do have Fall Out Boyesque names. But Stutterfly is metal and the others are punkish emo.

If they absolutely have to be just bands, and not individual artists who work with bands (a team of producers can be a lot like a band at times)...

According to Facebook, which is on the internet, and therefore infallible, my favorite bands are: Pink Floyd, The Who, Beatles, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, CCR, Nobuo Uematsu, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, The Doors, Dream Theater, Jethro Tull, Phish, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Paul Simon, Simon and Garfunkel, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, U2, The Velvet Underground, Bela Fleck, Flaming Lips. I could probably put at least a few more bands on there.
