i downloaded weird al yankovic's 'the saga begins' song.
i'm now convinced that one of the VERY reasons 'episode 1' exists is this song. another is 'duel of the fates' by john williams.
this is a weird topic, i'm just now realizing. oh well!

But didn't that movie come out the same year as the Running with Scissors album? That means, in Hollywood, the movie was in pre-production at least a year before the album was released.

I'd say Helter Skelter by the Beatles fits the bill. Who needs a British slide when you can stay home and listen to that song?  |

"Supermodel" by RuPaul - the song is timeless, but I don't know how 'cool' supermodels will ever look again.
