I don't know if this was ever a topic but if it was I'm sure there have already been a lot of changes in library sizes by this time. Anyway, the idea is that you say how many songs you have in your music library. If you don't download music or burn it to your computer just guess at how many CDs you have.
Currently I am at 6394 songs, totalling 18 days, 7 hours, 59 minutes, 56 seconds, and 31.39 GB.

On my (new) computer, I have 37 songs. I used to have over 1000 songs on my old computer. In terms of CDs, I have about 100, not including the millions of mix cds I've burned over the years (which don't really count anyway).

I have an old 13 GB HDD dedicated to MP3s and that is virtually full (few MBs left). I have over 200 CDs. I love music. When I say that my music collection is fairly varied, I mean it

My iPod's at 4120 songs and 18.5 GB. I have more music than that (at least 50 CDs that aren't on it) due to the fact that I'm nearing the capacity on it (20 GB).

Currently 2368 songs on my iPod, still need to add a ton more. I've got at least half a dozen boxes of CD's, probably ~1200+ CD's total.
They're not all going to fit on my HD or my iPod :-(

I got about 4 gigs of mp3's on the computer, about a third of them are legitimately ripped from my own cd collection (in case I lose or scratch up a cd), and the other third is downloaded.
Via dial-up. Yup, dial-up. That's how I roll.

About 19000 songs on my hard drive (320 GB, so not even half full), several hundred CDs and about 500 LPs. Used to be loads more but when I moved into my current flat a lot of music I didn't really care for all that much got given to charity.

I don't trust downloading anything, but I have (counts in head) about 65 vinyl records (I'm just old school like that), 150 cassettes, and over 200 CDs, and that's not counting Christmas music, which numbers around 20, so I'd say over 300 strong...

I'm in roughly the same category as DTH, except currently half my mp3 collection is stuck on the Hard Drive on my second PC which currently wants a new PSU so I can't really access them. But yeah, about 15GB of Mp3s split between 2 PCs, and about 200 original CDs. Music rocks. I predict Famous Mortimer will win, however - Rich

I think I have ~17,000 music and sound files on my computer and iPod, although a chunk of those are movie/TV sound clips.
