So I haven't been much of a poster for a while. I've gone on adventures, climed mountains, slayed dragons, saved the day and got the girl (well, the latter broke up with me a couple of months later, but that's a different story). And through all these adventures, I have found the most important thing ever: a 9762 song music library. Now, keep in mind that about 2000 of these are from two bands, namely Phish and The Grateful Dead. And now, whenever I'm on my travels, I try to find out anyone else who knows the awesomeness of such concerts as Barton Hall, 5-8-77 or Big Cypress, 12-31-99 (and has many such concerts on bootleg).
I guess my question can be summed up in one sentance: any other dirty hippies on this forum?

Well, I'll never admit to the hippie part, but I did forget to wash behind my ears today... I was into Phish briefly my freshman year of college and own a few albums, but now that I live outside of a smelly 3am dorm room, I can't seem to rekindle my love. Fee, Sample in a Jar, Runaway Jim, Bouncing 'Round the Room, and Slave to the Traffic Light will always have special place in my heart, however. Of the Grateful Dead, I am actually listening to Go to Heaven as I type and think American Beauty is one of the best albums ever made (I even thought that bfore Freaks and Geeks said so). I will admit, however, to being wholly eclipsed in the matter by my brother who knows lyrics, writing credits, concert dates, and did an entire semester of art class revolving around Jerry Garcia. And he doesn't even do drugs! EDIT: another indication of my love would be my avatar above More than both of them, recently (well, four years recently), I've been into a band from my area slowly gaining popularity around the country, The Breakfast. They're a jam/rock/funk/jazz/fusion/trio that any self proclaimed "dirty hippie" should experience if they come around your neck of the woods. More on them here or here. Al
