If you haven't, you really should check it out. It's a totally free internet radio with no commercials. Just type in the name of a band or artist you like and Pandora will search for similar music, based on different facets like male/female vocalist, the instruments used, the genre....it goes on and on. I guarantee you'll find lots of new music, and Pandora has recognized almost everything I've thrown at it. My friend even typed in an obscure German hair band and Pandora knew who they were and gave him more music like it. Pretty cool. You can create up to 100 stations.
I don't mean to sound like an advertisement for Pandora.com. I just really like this site and thought I'd share with all the other music lovers out there.

I use Pandora, too. It's so great, especially after using the nuisance that is Launchcast (there were no "Yahoo"s coming from me, I'll tell ya). The stations are great to have when you're in the mood for a certain genre. I've actually been meaning to mention Pandora on the forum somewhere. I have been beaten to it!

*Does the I-Was-FIIIIRRRSSST Victory Dance!* oh.....erm....*cough* Sorry. So yeah! Pandora is wonderful. I really hated Launchast *cleanses self after uttering such evil*
My only wish is that I could tweak it so that I don't just like or dislike a song. I like the *evil word*'s idea of a rating system. But otherwise Pandora beats the pants off that *other* internet radio device.

I started using Pandora last year...it totally rocks my world and reads my mind! Launchcast was a nightmare. Pretty sure it gave my computer a virus or two and it sucked at the whole guessing my musical taste thing.

Sadly, my access to Pandora has been cut off. I'm told it's because in Canada, we have different licensing laws or some such nonsense, but something tells me this move was done out of discrimination towards us Canadians.
