Hey ya'll. I was just starting to view myself as a Semi-Regular in the forums about 6 months ago, when all the sudden you changed over to this new Forum Thing. Well, my love for the good times I had with the mutants et al wasn't enough to make me trouble myself with clicking on in... until now.
I just wanted to say "Yeah, Dude. Right on," about Amelie. I really, really enjoyed that movie. I have no excuse about "the chick was hot" or "it was funny," or "it helped me score with my girlfriend." I actually enjoyed... the whole Love thing. I felt for the character, I loved the way it was done, and I enjoyed the whole story.
Way to be a Man, stand up and say, "By god, this was a girly movie, and it was great!"

Good deal man. I'm glad you enjoyed it like I did. It's one of those good "cuddle up with someone you care about" movies, although you can imagine Justin's reaction as I shuffled down the couch towards him. Oh my poor, rejected heart.  |

Crap. I've really missed out on some things. PoolMan... married...
I mean, I don't keep up on the Life and Times of my Mutants, but I'd like to think I catch the big things.
Ahh well. Time moves on, things change. Walls get redecorated. Pictures of now-unavailable-canadian-minor-internet-celebrities are removed. New glossies of pug-owning-unmarried-internet-minor-celebrities are printed and hung in their place.
Life goes on.

This topic's title made me laugh for some reason.
Mainly because I imagined a fifteen year old girl in a bathing suit, just outside a pool, looking at Poolman, the lifeguard, in the same pose as his er, kilt, picture from a while ago. In shorts, not a kilt.
I'm scarred for life.

Crap. I've really missed out on some things. PoolMan... married... You haven't missed out yet, technically, as I'm actually still in that state of being known as being "engaged". The wedding's not till next July, and believe me, you guys will know about it. Just be glad, Clare, you didn't have to expose yourself to Pooly in the early morning, when his dream-fantasies haven't completely worn off and he comes running down the hallway in slow motion, chest heaving, tight red shorts-wearing... and God help you if you get in his way. He "dives in" to save you, and then comes... comes... *sobs* I can't dredge up that memory.
