The last time we talked, you hadn't, and you've done nothing but whine about how much you didn't want to see it. I take it the situation has changed. Did you at least enjoy what you saw?
Hey, weren't you supposed to be gone another day?

I'm still away. In Philly. On a friend's computer.
And I wasn't whining about the quality or content of said film, but the questionable packaging of the film in question.

Enjoy the cheesesteaks.
If I pass you on the Blue Route (unlikely, given you can't pay me to go on there during rush hour), I'll wave.

All I'm saying is that if you're going to be annoyed about it, be annoyed at Miramax. QT was more than willing to release a 3 hour movie edited the way he originally intended it to be. Miramax balked. I actually have to give QT some credit for refusing to jam a 3 hour movie into an hour and 45 minutes just because the production company got it's panties in a wad. Maybe two movies is a hassle on your wallet, but it's not QT's fault.

Back from Philly -- am in northern PA. Had a blast going around there... we went to the Mutter Museum (tons of the creepiest human oddities that you'll ever see, all preserved in jars and stuff), a haunted jail, and almost got run over by a train.
(Pooly: Curses!)
I cede your point, Clare, I guess I'm just a bit nervous that this might start a new fad of movie studios looking to fleece audiences by splitting movies into two parts. Probably not... but then, Hollywood does love its new traditions.
