Actually, I just have a bizarre question.... Rich, have you seen The Maxx? The last line of your review REALLY reminded me of The Maxx.

"Not with a bang, but with a whimper"?
Its a famous quote from someone; can't remember who though. It seemed appropriate.

Very likely Maxx ripped it off as well. Or maybe that quote was "not with a bang, not with a whimper, but with a thwack." Man, once we move I've got to pull that one out again. Great review though

It's a line from T.S. Elliot's "The Waste Land", which goes:
This is the way the world ends This is the way the world ends This is the way the world ends Not with a bang, but with a wimper.

Is it in bad taste to post your own fan mail? Well, since it's the first peice of fan mail I've ever got, I'm going to anyway Carl Vaughan emailed me to sayWow. At least one person thinks I'm doing something right... Rich

Rich,
I must say that you (along with all the mutants) are doing something right. Reading MRFH, I realize that I'm reading the reviews of a group of people who just love movies. That, to me, will beat out a paid reviewer whose passion for movies died out back in the mid-80s during a cameo in "Gremlins 2: The New Batch". So, to all the mutants, many thanks.
Uber... One day older, and feelin' fine!

Wow. At least one person thinks I'm doing something right... Hey, the flattery *I* send you in email doesn't count? It's a well done review, Rich. I think you're King Richard for a day.
