I know a good bandwagon when I see one I haven't written an article quite as good as Kyle's one though. However, it is my birthday in a weeks time! So, congratulate me for that. Also, post any gifts for me in this thread. In case you're curious, I'll be 28. Also, in order that this thread isn't a complete waste of space, I'll post some of my recent 'Holiday in Spain' pictures in here when I get home from work. - Rich

Congrats in advance on your birthday, old chum. I actually knew it was coming, and was planning on surprising you by saying "happy birthday" without being told, but you've ruined that now. Great. I guess I can take the exotic dancer back to Kyle's place, too.
Looking forward to the Holiday pics!

Congratulations, Rich! You haven't done something so incredibly stupid as to interrupt this award-winning streak of converting oxygen into carbon dioxide. Bully for you! Now I think you should have a beer to celebrate. In fact, that's such a capitol idea, I think I'll have one myself.

Holiday Snaps as promised; this is just the first bunch though, I have a couple more on my digital camera I want to put on this weekend, so content yourself with these for now... My Parents' village, taken by me about a third of the way up the nearby mountain... This mountain, in fact. Note in the foreground is my Dad, on his way (with me) to Paco's the finest bar in the village. Weather: Sunny, quite a lot of the time. Here, enjoying the sun, is our family dog, Peta. However, it's not always sunny - and the local mountains look particularly cool covered in mist first thing in the morning. There's lots of local wildlife as well; This is me trying to capture the Storks nesting in the village church on film, badly. Also, note the huge building the Storks are cirling; that is the church for a village of less than 1,200 people. The Spanish take their church-building seriously. An arty shot of the sun coming up over the church. And while we're on arty shots, this is the one I'm most proud of (and is also my desktop image at the moment) - the local Pantana, a kind of shared lake for the village, at sundown. And just in case you thought I spent all my time in the village, relaxing and drinking, here's a picture of the Roman walls of the old town of the largest local city, Caceres, which is very impressive to look around (and I have some better photo's of that to come). Thats it for now. More when I remember to fish out my USB cable from my luggage and download my other pictures. - Rich

Seeing how it's now ACTUALLY Rich's birthday today, I will proceed to wish him a fine one, and invite you all to do the same!
Love the Spain shots, by the way!
