Seeing this review sparked up a painful memory of my late teenage years... I guess therapy hasn't taken care of everything! I was 17 when KK II came out, and made the mistake of telling my folks that I was going to go see it with two girls. Well, actually, the mistake was in telling my folks that I was going to meet them at the pizza shop where I worked. So, can you guess who showed up at the pizza shop promptly at 9PM, right when I was supposed to pick them up from work? Yup, my folks. They tried to tell us that they were just in the area, out to get groceries, and decided to swing by. But we really knew it was just so that they could see who I was going to take to the movies. How embarassing is that??? I proceeded not to introduce my folks to anyone I dated, for the next 10 years...

mmmmmm.... El Debarge-alicious.
I used to put that song at the end of every single mix tape I'd make as the "super secret bonus track" just to piss people off...
And in case you're wondering, I bought the album at the dollar store along with one from Phillip Michael Thomas.

Parents...

I love this movie, but I've always been irritated by the Japanese girl's hair. I mean, can't she comb it? Maybe run her hands through it or something? Drove me nuts! I've never been to Japan, but she makes me wonder, is it that windy there?
Oh, and could anyone tell me if she's the same girl in Day After Tomorrow? The scientist person?
