Do the Brits really call it a full stop? Thank goodness, I learned my useful fact of the day! I just learned that tidbit last week, when I was reading Eats, Shoots and Leaves. I was also reminded that what we Americans call parentheses are better known by the Brits as brackets.

Actually, we call 'em brackets too, but I would also accept parentheses.
I also heard a rumour that Brits call this:
!
... a "bang". Those crazy British.

...if you pull out all the stops for her(period) Am I the only one who read this part wrong? No, but I'm also 17 years old, so what does that say about you?

No, but I'm also 17 years old, so what does that say about you? I just thought I've been living with a woman for far too long.

I just thought I've been living with a woman for far too long. Or not quite long enough.

Surprisingly enough, wedding cake really DOES last a year in the freezer! Actually, we found that the cake part lasted, but the frosting part didn't. Congratulations on making it to the big 1!
