I just wanted to send out a special kudos to all of the MRFH staff, who busted their butts getting the AMA in under deadline. Some had to work through pregnancy, personal crises, and computer problems to make it happen, and it's a testiment to their dedication that the AMA sits up there today.

Well, thank YOU, big J, for getting all of it together.
And also, thanks to the mysterious reader who says I look good in a kilt. You sure know how to treat a girl!

I'm so torn by those reader comments- am I flattered that my ass is finally getting the attention it so richly deserves -- in rhyming couplet, no less! -- or offended at the implication that it needs to be shorn? (And no, I never did for swimming. Sicko.) All that, plus I'm nervous about Poolie's kilt admirer... will this lead to my dropping in the rankings of sexy male mutants again? Crap!!!

I'm just furious that the Amityville House didn't get more votes. The house itself is the single most iconic house in all Horror history. It is the only one that passes the sillhoute test. If you take all the houses and make them into a sillhoute (shade or shadow) backlit, the Amityville house is so obvious that anyone who has seen the movie could point it out in a second, and some people that haven't! Especially with those windows that look like EYES OOOOoooOOOOOoooOOOoooo....
Anyways, good show everyone. I still would like to be hired as a Grammar Nazi for the Editing Department though. I flinched at a couple of pages in this year's AMAs, but good job overall.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, given that you hired ME, but I was interested to note that the comments section reveals that not only are we popular with many types of people here on Earth, apparently the site is available on several other planets as well. So kudos to Justin for however he managed that.
As for the estrogen guy, he is welcome to give me his address and receive a large Tegenaria agrestis entirely free of charge.
But seriously: In the interest of avoiding the charge of prejudice or lack of incusiveness among Mutant Reviewers, I am willing to pretend to be male from now on. For a small gratuity I will also pretend to be a member of a statistical minority selected by our readers instead of a Norwegian-Irish gringa haoli cracker. I will use the same lifelike acting methods which Will Smith uses to achieve the effect of being from "The Hood" instead of his real upper-middle-class background featuring an engineer Dad and school administrator Mom.
Think about it!

And Kyle said... This is scary... this sounds exactly like one of my evenings, earlier this week! Was I channelling Kyle?

Dang, I just took up Sudoku myself. Eerie!
We hired Nancy and Shalen based on the merits of their writing, character, and ability to balance Justin's taxes, and that's that. Their boobies had nothing to do with it.

Dang, I just took up Sudoku myself. Eerie! That reminds me of that Star Trek: The Next Generation episode, where they all started playing the addictive mind game... you know, the one where the players were given a pleasurable sensation after winning their objective... and the aliens tried to use the distraction to take over the Federation. Hmmmm, maybe this is the Canadian government's way to influence the upcoming elections?

I was surprised by the Lamest "Cool" Line, I really thought LXG would've been higher. I mean do you really have to see the movie to know, "The vampire lady is covering us!" is horrible? It's just this line is rather near and dear as it caused me to actually flinch with the awfulness of it.
Good job mutants.

I just really really hated the X-Men line, I couldn't pass up the chance to vote for its suckiness.
And I really want to see the Christopher Walken SNL skit Kyle talked about. Just reading the phrase "Christopher Walken selling skittles" gave me a case of the giggles.
Great job, all!

All-around good effort, special kudos to Pooly for referencing Kevin Spacey as Christopher Walken as Han Solo. Thank you for making my evening!

Probably my favourite thing Kevin Spacey ever did, and that's no slight.
