Good one, boss... the list was a nice touch. 
Though for your information, Sin City is NOT located in the Jerz, thankyewverymuch- it's out west in California or Nevada, or someplace else where it only rains once a year or so. (And I think the melodramatic tone is more because it's based off a noir comic book specifically, not just because it's a comic book movie in general.) Anyway, excellent review! So, a movie about pot-smoking and a movie about the most corrupt city in America... it's been a very "Damn the Man!" type of weekend for you, hasn't it?
