I'm not sure which is more viscerally disturbing to me; finding out about the existence of Newsies fanfiction, or the header of this thread.

Sue, I'm going to be honest with you- when this movie first came out, back when I was young and foolish and didn't know any better, I had a desire to see it. I never did, and ever since, it's remained one of those minor little "always meant to see that" regrets somewhere in the back of my mind. Until today. Now I am filled with gratitude that I didn't see it, because I might have liked it and carried that irrational feeling into the present day. And then I would have had to disagree with your assessment, and thereby prove myself quite stupid indeed.
So I guess what I'm really saying is thank you to my mother for not taking me to the movies. I thought you were just cheap, but you really had my best interests at heart all along. Thanks mom!

Ah Newsies, one of the few movies with the dishonor of being so bad it's been filed away to the part of my brain that only really bad movies go to be forgotten. Oh sure, I know I saw it, but that's X amount of minutes of my life that's a complete blank.
... Something about the word "pape's" a lot yes?

I remember seeing it once when I was really young because my parents were watching it and we only had one TV. Later in life, when I got my first job, I had an inexplicable urge to buy my own TV. This may explain things.

It almost sounds like a mild disease that causes a rash, doesn't it? "I got me a bad case of the Suesies"

Once again my tendency towards brevity has inadvertantly sparked debate.
Back when I worked at a movie theater I attempted to instigate the use of the word "freefills" in order to save a tiny bit of time while maximizing our obnoxiousness, but I'm afraid it never caught on. "Suesies" doesn't go too far out of context, though, so I wouldn't worry about it. Unless someone with photoshop and a lot of free time feels like being mean.
