absolutely fantastic review! i'm actually shocked that i hadn't reviewed it already (ah, swiss cheese memory o' mine!) but i couldn't be happier, because you did a much better job on the extras and presentation of facts than i would have! *and now i can swoop in with a secondary review and just talk mostly about myself. awesome!*

seriously, though: really great writing, as usual. it's certainly a difficult film to review, but i know the people who love it REALLY love it. i think you covered all bases. wonderful.

This is one of the only films I've seen that actually scared me on the second viewing as well as the first - once you know the "catch" for "The Others" or "The Sixth Sense" they're pretty well ruined in the scare department. Not so this film.

I really love it.
