Good review -- I think ever since Pooly originally reviewed this, I've looked very hard at McDonald's. It's good to get a bit more urging to do so. But I will not condemn their coffee. Good stuff.

Thanks I know this is impossible to believe, but I survived seven years of grad school and never developed a liking for coffee. Strange, no? Even stranger is Duckie never fell for coffee, either. My sister is a coffee fiend, and the poor girl was appalled when she came to our house and discovered that, despite a collective 14 or so years of grad school, we STILL don't own a coffee maker. I kicked caffiene cold when I started Weight Watchers, because cutting out soda was such an easy way to cut out points. And I discovered that if I actually drank enough water, I didn't need the caffiene from my Coke habit. I've gotten a little more back into it these days, because some days I'm just that tired and I do need the quick rush, but still. But I never could get into coffee. I don't even like coffee ice cream, and that's saying something!

Well, I've been off caffiene for a while now, actually. Decaf coffee and decaf tea (I've recently discovered an enormous love of tea, something I never thought possible, but there ya go... plenty of water!) for me. I think one of the cool benefits of growing older is a decreasing need for sleep -- I used to need 10 hours a night in college plus a lot of coffee to get going, and now I operate on around 7 hours and no caffiene.
Caramel hates coffee, but at least I got her to switch from normal Pepsi to Diet... she sometimes chugs about seven or eight of those things a day.

That's strange. It always seemed to me that I should need sleep more as I got older, but I think that's because I'm mildly addicted to sleep deprivation. Lately I've been getting at least eight hours, which is good, but I'm still not fully recovered from four-hour-a-night binge weeks and complete and total insomnia road trips. In fact, it's the first week of summer for me, so I'm pretty sure a night minus sleep is in the works.
I'm also drinking coffee right now. I'm very healthy, nutritious, I get good exercise, but when it comes to the sleep thing, I fall short. Which is good, because if I slept right I'd be perfectly healthy, and that's impossible (is the logic I use to justify my bad sleeping habits).
P.S. Great review Lissa!
