Wicked chewing stick man. I just bought one online except mine has a nifty little carrying case. Jealous?

I got mine from from Captain Morgan (pirate hat) and then promptly lost it in a friendly wager with a member of the band that was at the bar that evening.

My academic team took a pirate as our mascot for a while. We called ourselves "The Scurvy Seadogs" (since academic teams don't get the public adoration that sports teams do, we have to provide for ourselves such things as mascots and humourous names). We had our second-best player wear a pirate hat and carry a stuffed parrot.

Incidentally, we came in second in the tournament, and then only to a way-out-of-our-league team from Detroit. So I guess the other teams were intimidated (or at least laughing so hard they got points docked for hesitation).
