usually, i barely read any mutant reviews, including my own. for one thing, i can't stand to read my own writing ever because all i see is crap. for another, i'm really, really busy.
but i seemed to remember that my 'the hills have eyes' review was particularly witty and insightful. so i got home from the sdcc and since i got up on a little bit of shut-eye while i drove home (yep, that's right, but don't do that yourself at home, kids!) i'm a bit wired so i'm surfing the internet. i saw my review got posted. i read it.
then i came across this passage:
"A desert that, as it so happens, was the sight of early domestic nuclear weapons tests, and is still undergoing governmental observance today (not a job you'd want, as the pre-title sequence illustrates)."
now i SWEAR that when i wrote my review i put "site" there. i can't imagine myself in any situation EVER where i would confuse "site" with "sight." what is going on? i blame microsoft word.
but if i did screw up, i'm sorry. i HATE reading anything, from magazines to cooking instructions to descriptions of nude scenes in movies, and seeing a blatant and easily-caught typo/misprint. i'd like to apologize to the rest of the staff, my parents, everyone who read that review and/or this post, Grant Morrison, Harold Bloom, William Shakespeare, and all other writers who have contributed to the writer i am.
i'm so angry and hurt and i don't know what to do. sorry, everyone.
i do stand by one thing: emilie de ravin is absolutely gorgeous. hooray!

Consider this another plug for the original Hills. It's way better than the remake!

The caption for the picture of the guy with the axe ("thank you, frank.") made me laugh pretty hard. Good job, Kyle!
