Thanks! I just wanted to share the love for one of my favorite B video game movies. I'm planning to review Doom also, continuing in the trend of "reviews of movies based on video games I've never played."

Yes! I've been waiting a Mortal Kombat review for years from you guys. Great job!
Interesting Factoid: Johnny Cage's stunt double was Ray Park!

You know, I'D like to know who did Sarah Michelle Gellar's stunts on Buffy for the first few seasons. It appears to be mostly one stocky woman with a lot of facial scarring, really good moves, and actual muscle definition in the arm region. You could really tell when she was on screen, because Sarah Michelle Gellar would suddenly appear to have grown breasts.

Actually, Raiden--or Raijin, as is the "proper" spelling--hails from Japanese mythology. He supposedly has a thing for children's bellybuttons. That's creepy like I can't even put into words.
All needless nitpicking aside; a brilliant and very footnotey review, as always.
However, I must register a little disappointment at the lack of any main-body mentions of Sub-Zero, Scorpion, or Reptile (save for the allusion right towards the start). It's just that I love color-coded generic ninjas more than almost anything. I wish there had been a red ninja named Peppermint.
