You know, I was planning to never EVER see this movie, because I am less than fond of Josh Hartnett, but this review may change my mind.

Also, the slashfic comment on the photo cracked me up totally.

I did like the trailer for it, and Sue's recommendation is worthy. Now, it must pass the Three Trials of the Snake Jungle, and all will be well.

I've never been able to get past the title and Josh Hartnett. I will... be more open to the idea of giving it a try.

Thanks guys. I will admit that I believe this is one of those movies that can go either way in the eyes of the audience. Therefore, even though I liked it, it comes in an "as is" condition with no warranty expressed or implied.

Ahhh, fanfic. Pern will never be the same again. Uhm... so I've heard.

Sue, I finally got around to seeing this and, even though the beginning was a little shaky (to me) it really picked up in the middle and had a strong finish. It's been a while since I've seen a movie I wasn't able to figure out the entire ending. Thanks, I probably would have passed on it completely but for your review!

Oh yes, it definitely grew on me. I'm glad I saw it: some great performances and a good story.
