Thanks! Credit must go to Justin for finding it. I think he was a little miffed I got around to reviewing it first.
If you want, I'll put the mac n cheese recipe up tonight (it's downstairs and I'm being lazy as naptime is very valuable). It's quite tasty, if not remotely health-conscious!

Razzberryfinn- here's the recipe I use:
Mac and Cheese with Bacon, Shiitake Mushrooms, and Corn (from Signatures in D.C., as reported by Bon Appetit)
6 to 8 servings
12 ounces elbow macaroni 6 thick cut bacon slices, cut crosswize into 1/2 inch pieces 1/2 cup thinly sliced stemmed shiitake mushrooms (I use about twice this, though!) 2 large shallots, chopped 2 garlic cloves, chopped 1 1/4 cup whipping cream 1 cup frozen white corn kernels, thawed (make sure they're the white, supersweet variety) 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley 1 1/2 cups coarsely grated sharp cheddar cheese (get the good stuff- or at least reasonably good. The pre-grated stuff doesn't cut it.)
Cook macaroni in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to the bite, stirring occasionally. Drain.
Preheat broiler. Butter 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Cook bacon in large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Using slotted spoon, transfer bacon to paper towels. (Lissa's note: I usually drain off most the fat at this point, or I find the final dish is too greasy for my taste. But that's me.) Add mushrooms to skillet. Saute until golden, about 6 minutes. Add shallots and garlic; saute until shallots are golden, about 4 minutes. Add macaroni, cream, and corn. Toss until sauce coats macaroni, about 3 minutes. Stir in 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, parsley, and bacon. Transfer to baking disk. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and the remaining Parmesan. Broil until brown, watching to prevent burning, about 3 minutes.
