Supergirl... *cringe* I saw this when I was seven and I still thought it was bad.

Funny that you should review "Supergirl," because I just picked it up from FYE today. I love weird coincidences. I like "Supergirl," but I like it because I know it's bad and I know it's cheesy, but damn, I can't help having fun anyway. It's definately not everyone's cup of tea, especially if you take your superhero films more seriously. (And for more weird coincidences, I also first saw this on cable. My mom and stepdad have had cable on and off for as long as I can remember, not because they're rich, but because my stepdad is one of the great couch potatoes of the world and 3 channels simply are NOT enough for him. My parents were also far less strict about our viewing habits; as long as there was no heavy blood and guts and no obvious sex, we could pretty much watch whatever we damn well pleased.  ) |
