I keep wanting to type "storm of swords," possibly out of some mental connection between that and the bladestorm attack in WCIII. Or something. Regardless, thanks for pointing this one out - it looks great from the quotes section and I can't wait to see it.
It was a nice movie and the review does it justice, you are right that more interaction between the three of them IS needed. Only one thing bugs me about the whole thing: Hellboy's legs? what's up with those toothpicks can you explain? they are seriously disproportionate to his upper body, I mean they're really tiny man, damn. They're not even disproportionate in the manga-type big-ass weapons/swords that characters use/wield, they're disproportionate in the kind of malformed Chernobyl aftermath-type creature.
