A really enjoyable read, Lissa! You definitely echoed my feelings (and some of my rage) on the subject.

I concur! (fancy word.) It was very nicely written and expressed many of my own views on paparazzi better than I could myself!

Ditto. (Not as fancy a word, but I can use 'em if I hafta and you know it!) Excellent article. We carry a few of the gossip rags where I work and it's amazing how many people (not all young females) hover over the headlines and take it all soooo seriously. Sheeesh.
By the way, I'm guessing the...uh... Vulcan Jugs were probably contributed by J. Am I right?

Good article. The King of Comedy directed by Martin Scorsese is a really interesting satire on the public eye's skewed view on celebrities. It stars Robert De Niro and Jerry Lewis. A lot of times celebrities are put on a pedestal and we forget that they are people, too.

By the way, I'm guessing the...uh... Vulcan Jugs were probably contributed by J. Am I right? Silicone is simply the most efficient way of gaining cooperation from male crew members. Eminently logical. -D

I get it! Then if they sexually harass you, you nerve pinch them, because you're only physically capable of being turned on every 7 years. They wake up and don't remember a thing.
Vulcan women have made the switch from being aloof to being teases. Another reason for me not to watch Star Trek any more.

Not only do I totally agree with Lissa, I'm constantly exposed to this crap because I work in a grocery store as a cashier, right next to the tabloids. I'm not crazy about gossip of any kind anyway. I heard a few too many ugly rumors about ME throughout most of my school career. It's boring, pointless, and invasive.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I had fun with it- and it was rather fun to get off my chest. (My non-silicone enhanced chest, mind you. I'm no Vulcan.)
