Great review!
Versus is one of my favorite guilty pleasures and this sounds like a great companion piece. Insofar as you can use the term "companion piece" for oddball Japanese action flicks.
Ooh, and it's nice and cheap at amazon marketplace! Thanks!

Two of the picture captions are switched, in case anybody was wondering why one guy with swords got a DoubleMint reference.
Thanks, Al! It really is a perfect movie for people who liked Versus. To call it style over substance presupposes actually comprehending it enough to definitely SAY there's no substance, and there's enough actual plot in both movies to keep me and the Sibs guessing over several viewings.
Also, Tak Sakaguchi. Pretty guys with swords FTW.

It was 5:30 in the morning. Just be glad I didn't post it in Japanese.

Justin does that sometimes, Al, just to see if we're paying attention. I think two of my captions for The Good, The Bad & The Ugly are still switched.

As a fan of Versus (and asian cinema in general) i'll definately be checking this out. Though if you want a movie that is truly style over substance check out the movie "Casshern". Gorgeous to look at but seemingly missing half the plot.
