Bravo! A brilliant review of an awesome movie. I really enjoyed reading that one.

And to whomever is responsible for the caption under the 3rd picture- hilarious!

Also- it's worth mentioning that there is a 1957 version of this movie with Glenn Ford. According to IMDB a lot of the quotes are the same, so I am curious about it now and am thinking about renting it.

This October I'll be walking 60 miles in 3 days to raise money for cancer treatment and research. Definitely an excellent review, Mike. Everything I kept trying to say but couldn't quite put it together.

I haven't seen the old 3:10 to Yuma, but I understand it treaded a lot of the same ground as High Noon, where the events of the film are basically in real time. Some of the imdb folks swear by the original and think the new one is a pale imitation, but, then, there are always some of those people on imdb.
