Loved the review of Across the Universe and completely agreed with it. I liked the reference to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band movie of the 70's with the Bee Gees and Peter Frampton. My favorite review of the soundtrack for that gawd-awful movie was in the 1983 edition of the Rolling Stone Record Guide. This guide had tens of thousands of reviews covering rock, jazz, compilations, some gospel, etc. The review for that soundtrack stated "Easily the worst album of any genre in this book." Wow.

Yup, it was pretty horrid. Thanks for reading, man. Glad you enjoyed it.
