I loved the original article (and it got me into Y: The Last Man) and the sequel is just as good. Now I have a better reason to pick up Bone at some point in my life (I've been interested in it for a while but not really sure what it was about...).
In conclusion, great article(s) with a great premise! I hope there is another sequel lurking somewhere in the future.

That made for a wonderful read! I must confess that I am not all that familiar with Zot and Liberty Meadows, but I'll check them out for sure. And your list is way cool; I agree that most of those comics could be awesome movies...
Here are some comics I think would make good movies:
Warren Ellis' Crécy - This would definitely make for an EPIC movie! This one unfolds along the same lines as Miller's 300, but it's set in Crécy, France, and tells the tale of how 8,000 English Archers managed to trounce a French Cavalry composed of 36,000 men!
Terry Moore's Strangers In Paradise - This one is a real cool story about two females who live together - Katina and Francine. Katina is a lesbian(not to mention ex-high-pay call girl, martial arts expert, and cold blooded murderer) who secretly loves the ditsy, happy go lucky Francine. Francine, oblivious of this fact, continues to indulge in a very lacklustre social life and always comes running back to Katina, one disastrous relationship after another. Anyhow, the story is compounded by the inclusion of David, who falls in love with Katina forming a very obtuse Triangle. There's a bigger twist to this involving the FBI and the likes. Neatly done, with an air of emotion about everything.
Warren Ellis' Dark Blue - Quite a brilliant sci-fi comic and if done properly (if ever done that is..) this could be a downright mindthump! Without delving too much into the plot, I'll describe this as The Matrix/Johnny Quest meets Fight Club meets Requiem For A Dream meets Film Noir meets Cops(the show)!
Brian Wood's DMZ - Very Transmetropolitan in nature, this could work really well as a movie. It tells the tale of a young journalist set in the distant future where America undergoes Civil War Number Two. And this time it's in, you guessed it, New York City. If you liked the Grand Theft Auto series of games I suggest you check out the comic, cause they are very similar (Brian Wood was involved in the graphic design of the game)
Steven Seagle's American Virgin - A short series, spanning 23 issues (of which 20-23 haven't been released yet), American Virgin is about a young teen Evangelist, who preaches to people about staying sex-free until marriage. He claims that God has put that one special someone on this Earth and they're the only ones you get to do it with. His girlfriend is a missionary in Africa and he feels that they're meant for each other... this is until she gets beheaded by terrorists! Now, he's looking for a way out of this. It's about how he copes with the whole scenario and finds that he can actually love again. I'm waiting to find out how it concludes...
These are all the ones I could think of from the top of my head...

Thanks! And yes, I'm sure I'll get around to another sequel eventually. Seems like every time I finish one and send it in, I immediately think of two more comics that should have made the list. (Next time: Madman. Definitely Madman.) Great job Drew. You made me get into Y last time around, and I will definitely check out Bone sometime soon. Sweet, glad to hear it. Hey, with Y ending in January, we'll all be in the market for a new book soon. -D

Drew got me into comics in general but this article is amazing. Alot of some great indie comics, that I want to check out. I'm gonna check out Scott Pilgrim for sure and I have been looking for Y for a very long time. Hopefully, I'll find it soon.
