Yep.
Nice try, but but it won't work. I mean, the movie was made, so somebody must like it. Maybe I'm one of those people. How can I live with that uncertainty? I must know!

I mean, the movie was made, so somebody must like it. I'm honestly ALWAYS surprised that some movies get made, for that exact reason. Somebody, somewhere, thought that it would be a GREAT idea to take a terrible story about dragon wands and inept heroes and turn it into Dungeons and Dragons. Did they realize halfway through, "oh crap, this is really going to stink"? Did Gregg Araki look at his little masterpiece and go "oh hell, I just realized I can't write at ALL"? So yes. Perhaps you ARE that 1/4 of a percent for whom this movie was intended. I guess it was made for SOMEbody. But honestly, I'd feel better if you never found out. Some itches just shouldn't be scratched (ask Justin about that, he's an expert in the field. )

I guess it was made for SOMEbody. I realize you just said you'd rather not know, but TDG has a disturbingly large fanbase. I've met a good two-dozen people--mostly disenfranchised, brooding, highschoolers--who think it's a genius testament to the pointlessness of modern American life. Al -no offense to any disenfranchised, brooding, highschoolers on the board. Y'all are cool.

It sounds like you are equating TDG to the likes of Romeo is Bleeding and other fair that make you want to find the producer and demand monetary compansation for your pain and mental anguish not to mention all of that lost time.

I very recently saw Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead due to a Mutant review.
It was argueably the most amusing movie I've seen in ages, and truthfully isn't the type of movie I'd normally watch simply because it isn't the type of movie I would normally be aware exsists.

Hooray - I have influenced both DarthMadler with my Battle Royale review and Lunabird with my R&GAD reviews - huzzah!
Everyone look out for my next review - "You should all send Rich all youir spare money because he has lots of bills to pay", coming soon.

Sure.
Pay your own bills first, then send me the rest - I'm not greedy.
