I just wanted to let all you know, my friends, family and random disturbed lurker here at MRFH, that last night I proposed to my girlfriend Joy and she accepted. In Spanish. I didn't propose in Spanish, but she accepted in Spanish, I mean.
We're going to get married next spring, and I couldn't be more thrilled.

Now, don't forget to do your duty by us single guys: you have to publicly swear that you've been dating for no less than 4-5 years. life is incredible, isn't it? saw is about to come out in theaters, i have the entire first season of the o.c. on dvd in my room, and everything is cooling off outside. yay for fall! congrats, jim.

Congratulations to Justin!!! And take some advice from a (relatively) newly married fellow - there is no shame in getting a few wedding neccesities from Walmart. Plus, the super centers are open 24-7. And yes, your bride-to-be will get the whim to price tiny champange glasses for favors at 2 in the morning. Hey, I got a kickass new guitar amp! And a kid two and a half years later, and that was pretty cool. |

Actually, he IS a preacher... it's pretty fun to imagine him jumping back and forth between the groom's and reverend's positions to conduct the ceremony. ;D "Do I take Joy to be my lawfully wedded wife? <hustle hustle> Yes, I do! <hustle hustle> Great!" Or something like that. I don't remember my own ceremony that well... |
