A reporter from USA Today gave me a buzz today about the Seed of Chucky movie... saw MRFH and wanted a quote about the series from me. We had a good 7-minute conversation about Chucky, MRFH and whatnot, and hopefully they'll quote us AND put the link to the website in the newspaper. So be sure to pick up the next few issues in upcoming days!

Hey, sweet! Way to go, J! And finally, something for my mom to brag about in the family Christmas card! (So, uh, the fact that we've only reviewed one of the four Chucky movies didn't turn her off or anything?) -D

Yeah, don't ask me WHY he thinks I'm a Chucky expert, but I managed to talk about the series with some fake lucidity.
He called back to confirm the website URL, and said that the article will be in the paper November 12th or before. Keep your eyes peeled!

This is the first step to worldwide MRFH domination, I tells ya!
A la "Pinky and the Brain" theme:
They're Justin, they're Justin and the Mrfhs, mrfhs, mrfhs, mrfhs, mrfhs, mrfhs, mrfhs, mrfhs!
(side note: that seems fine written down, but is, in fact, hard to say...meh)

Glad they didn't call me! The most I could have said about Chucky was that he deserted the Oakland Raiders so he could take Tampa Bay to the Superbowl. Very cool news, J.! I shall watch the papers with great interest. Sue

Q: So MRFH is now a "horror" site? A: Hey, I told the guy like 10 times we were a "cult" site, but... what can you do?
Q: And you're a "longtime Chucky fan" since when? A: Since a reporter from USAToday called and asked if I was a fan, to get a quote in an article.
Q: Sellout. A: A little prostitution never hurt when it comes to publicity.

Q: Sellout. A: A little prostitution never hurt when it comes to publicity. Absolutely. And in that spirit, Kyle, Rich and I will be hanging around the street corner of MRFH headquarters every evening for the next week. No more lonely nights, ladies! -D

Maybe you guys would be better off having a lemonade stand? Or a bake sale? Or how about girl scout cookies? (First, catch your girl scout...) Not that you guys aren't totally studly and everything, but we've had some calls from the neighbors...

I don't know. I'd pay good money to sit on a chair on the sidelines and watch their attempts to pick up clients. C'mon, Sue- we could do the whole Statler and Waldorf thing. It would be FUN!

If anyone sees my dignity and self esteem lying around anywhere on the forums, I'd appreciate it if you could PM them to me. They should be somewhere near the broken shards of my confidence. - Rich
