For those of us who are getting our butts whipped at Mutant Family Feud and want something where we might stand a chance.... Check out www.yetanotherdot.com/asp/80s.htmlI didn't do nearly as well as I thought (68.25) because the guy actually counts for spelling. Believe me, that's annoying. Enjoy! Lissa #nosmileys

Just fixed your link there, Lissa. You had it set to the answers!
And I'll take a score of 66, even without going back and spitefully changing "mags" to "mag" for the Beastie Boys.

Like I said... you stand a better chance with this one. Especially when I'm posting it. Thanks Liss

Wow. 100.65.
Is this one of those situations where I'm a winner and a loser all at the same time?

I would've gotten a couple more points, if it wasn't for you meddling kids.
Er...I mean, if it wasn't for Rick Springfield's inability to correctly spell gender-variable names.

75. I missed a lot more than I thought I would. And I don't know any John Cougar lyrics.
I did get points for knowing "Obsession" and "Don't You Want Me" and the proper verse of "California Girls."

71.5
Not bad for someone who pretty much hated 95% of the music of the 80's.

Uhhh yeah......23.15. Well....I was *born* in 1980. I figure I did pretty well considering I was a small child for most of the 80s.

What, by 1990 you were six feet tall?

The thing we found annoying about that quiz was the ONLY category you got penalized for belonging to was if you were born before Woodstock. (I said I was cause I can't remember when the heck Woodstock was.) It took off 30% of your score. Stupid thing.
Plus, spelling counted.
And to my frustration (and at the same time, pride, because he's a music nut), Howard only beat me by half a point. Whoohoo!

Well....I was *born* in 1980. '81 for me. Fortunately, my youth is far outweighed by my detestation for the music of today.

I got a 44-point-something. I'm not that dissapointed, the decade was half over when I was born. Plus, I feel the fact that they didn't include Cindy Lauper's "Goonies R Good Enough" kinda screws with the credibility of the exam.
Listen to me, pretending to know the 80's.

Gotta 81.
Of course, the fact that I fill in for Friday Night Eighties at the local Top 40 station every so often filled me in on some of the more obscure ones. Can't believe I missed It's the End of the World as We Know It, though.

We actually found it got hard because the song before got stuck in your head, and you couldn't think of anything else. Even if you knew you knew it....
