best currently-running tv show?

i'm a little biased/misinformed here, as i only watch 'boston legal' and 'house.'

but this week's 'boston legal,' which managed to encapsulate so much of the glory of the program's charms (funny/dramatic subject matter, quirky characters, using his show as usual to simultaneously entertain AND inform), i can't believe there is a better show out there.

'house' is amazing, and i don't want to throw a "but" into the argument at all. i simply think the far-reaching effects of 'bl' as well as the dynamics between james spader/alan shore and william shatner/denny crane are so magnificient they are the only things that could combat the talent of hugh laurie.

what do you think?

Uh... where's Battlestar Galactica? Because I'll pit Admiral Adama's frosty glare at House any day of the week and be pretty sure my boy's coming out on top.

Here, here! I've got lots of love for both Boston Legal (which was excellent this week) and House, but Other is gonna have to win the day.

I don't watch either of those shows or Battlestar Galactica, but there's a few other shows I think could contend for that title. I'm at a disadvantage since most of the shows I watch have been or are still on hiatus (thank goodness for The Biggest Loser), but Dexter is pretty consistently excellent.

I'm submitting Lost as a write-in candidate (the news episodes are only a week away!). Dexter is a close second.

Out of the two, I would choose House any day of the week. But I think my icon speaks for my final decision.
