Hint: It starts with a "t".

Hahaha I was going to guess "turtles" as a joke, but then I saw it's an actual group.
...yeah, I dunno.

Well, I don't think anyone knows. It's the tuatara- New Zealand's wannabe lizard. www.kcc.org.nz/animals/tuatara.aspAlright, name three midget movie actors. That's the substitute question.

Verne Troyer, Herve Villechaize, and Corey Feldman.
Haha, no. Just Kidding. Warwick Davis.
But, really: Corey Feldman.

While I'd rather someone mention Tom Cruise, you are correct, and I'm legally obligated to give you the questioning floor. Ask away.

You know, I was actually going to put Tom Cruise! But then I got to thinking about how he's been getting too much attention lately for acting like a jackass and how at this very moment Corey Feldman is probably sitting on a metal fold-out chair in his studio apartment, eating a pot of beans and watching a copy of The 'burbs he taped off of USA eleven years ago. Just didn't seem fair. Hope you're reading this, Corey!
Hmm...anyway, I suppose I'll stick to movies. In fact, I think I'll go back to the beginning. This one should be fairly easy...
Who created the first official movie camera and made the first films (including the feel-good hit of 1895, The Arrival of a Train at the Station) EVER!?
P.S. I apologize if somebody already asked this question; I haven't read all 50+ pages of this thread.

Ok, I think enough time has passed...
It's the Lumiere Brothers (Louis and Auguste).
Any one feel free to take the floor.

Okay, I'll revive this baby...
Director Peter Jackson tends to make cameos in his movies. Where is he in the movie Heavenly Creatures?

I believe that after leaving the movie theatre after seeing a Orson Welles movie (The Third Man?), one of the girls hugs him.

Yes, ma'am! Nice going with getting The Third Man also.
Your turn.

All right, let's see . . . I just finished reading Equal Rites, so how about a Discworld question. What is the motto of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch? Either Latatian or the English translation is good.

FABRICATI DIEM, PUNC (Really a transcription of a Dirty Harry line, but Sergeant Colon claims it means "to serve and protect." )

Right-o! Interesting fact: I looked it up in my Discworld Companion (nerd alert! nerd alert!) to make sure I was getting it right, and apparently the full motto is "FABRICATI DIEM, PVNCTI AGVNT CELEBRITER", which means "Make the Day, the Moments Pass Quickly". Oh that wily Pratchett.
Floor's all yours!

I was torn between something medical and something spider-related. Let's go with medical.
Name the genetic condition in which a female is born with one, count 'em, X chromosome.
(Other symptoms include being really short and sterile, but just as smart as everyone else.)
A child at the school where my Mom administrates has this.

I'm guessing Fragile X syndrome, but I don't know how that specifically applies to females. But it sounds familiar.
