Ewww... just, ewww....
Anyways...
Well said. The Dark Knight might be the more "artistic" movie, but Iron Man was JUST PLAIN FUN, and I enjoyed it a lot more. Bravo.

I agree. Though I did love Dark Knight and found it to be phenomenal, I'll be rewatching Iron Man MUCH more often.

For me, Iron Man is up there as one of the better Superhero movies. I was surprised that no one had reviewed it before now.
Definitely, it's in the top 5 best "origin movies".
Batman Begins is still the best, in my opinion though Iron Man is a very close second. While Spidey and X-Men are my two favourite franchises, their respective first movies weren't that great.
And yet, X2 and Spider-man 2, now they are the two best superhero movies in general.
So while Iron Man and Batman Begins are the yardstick as far as first movies go, their sequels no longer have the "we have a lot to set up" excuse.
The Dark Knight, as good as it was (and I really did enjoy it), did not live up to the standard of its predecessor.
Iron Man 2? I really, really want to see this movie but it has a long way to go to surpass Iron Man.
Will it be a Dark Knight or a Spider-man 2? We'll have to wait and see.
Of course, if its even remotely better than Fantastic Four 1 or 2, I'll be very happy. Man, those films were just plain dull!
