In case anyone's interested, there's a new freeware mod set to Portal called Portal Prelude, which is now available for download.
It's a fan made series of puzzles set as a prequel to the events of Portal. Aperture Science is still run by humans, no sign of GLaDOS yet, and you get to play as another (probably doomed?) heroine with the orange and blue portal gun.
I am only three levels in, and while it's good to get a fresh set of puzzles to deal with, I'll say this: it's a lot harder than Portal was. Lacks a little of the fine tuning that Valve is so good at as far as coaching players along so they can see the answer.
But if tougher's your thing, and you want more Portal, here you go!
