Choosing the best hallucination was some of the hardest voting I've ever done.
Also- Maximum Overdrive should have been in the Best Soundtrack from a crappy film. I submit that for future Mutie consideration. Also, I have only now come to realize that it has never been reviewed on the site, so I'm off to add it to The List... because someone should have to watch it.

Ooh! Great choice. I wish someone had thought of that, too.
And really? We don't have a review of Maximum Overdrive? Huh. I've seen that a couple of times (back when I was a young-un). Let me pose this, my question, to you: Did you see the made for TV version titled "Trucks"? 'Cause I sure did!
Needless information: I recently read a collection of Stephen King's short stories that had the story Maximum Overdrive was based on ("Trucks"!). It's quite different from what I remember in the movie, which SK himself directed.

The best part of Maximum Overdrive, though, is that Stephen King actually directed it... he can't just pretend someone messed with his work. And don't use being young as an excuse for watching Maximum Overdrive more than once. You totally watched it last week and you know it!

I love that you actually took the time to dig that up. Memories. "A thriller....without breaks". I wish Don LaFontaine could have come out with a book of the stupidest lines he had to say for film trailers. I did not! So ha! (But I would totally watch it this week if I had it) I've always loved schlocky horror films.

Maximum Overdrive almost made it onto my plate for Stephen King week last year, but I couldn't quite fit it into my schedule. Maybe someday...

I was actually thinking that that trailer made me miss him Video of trailers for terrible movies is my favorite imdb feature.
