Nazi Zombies! (COD5)

Just wanted to let all the horror fans know that there is a special game mode on "Call of Duty: World at War" that is unlocked when you beat the single player game.

This mode, called "Nazi Zombies" puts you and up to three friends in a boarded-up bunker and lets you take on limitless hoardes of the fascist undead. You gain points for killing zombies and you can use those to repair fortifications, buy weapons (includiing a ray gun!), and access other areas of the bunker.

I love this shout-out to the geek crowd! The game as a whole was not as good as COD4. I was going to return my rental to gamefly, but now that I've played "Nazi Zombies", I am seriously considering buying the game just for this mode.

If you have a 360, a PS3, or a capable PC, I highly recommend the game, just for this mode.

It is pretty freaking cool. I played it for an hour or so last night. I tried to get my wife to play too, but it kind of freaks her out. Truth be told, I screamed a couple of times when I turned around to see a zombie getting ready to take a bite out of me.

I can't wait until my friend Judo Joseph gets back from the National Guard. This game was MADE for him.

On a related zombie note, there's Left 4 Dead out now, that deals only in zombies....well not zombie-zombies, not the traditional classic shuffling zombie, more like "infected" because there are some special zombies as well, anyway you can try the demo and see if ye likes.

Does it have to be single player? Can it be co-op?...

Not sure why you can't start with it. I really wish the mode for available as a download of PSN or Xbox Live for say $10. As it is, I'm going to wait until the whole game gets cheaper before I buy it. As much as I love "Nazi Zombies", I can't justify spending $60 on it.

To answer your other question, you can play single player or with up to 4 players.
